Dr. Ray Sanai is a licensed periodontist and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
He received his dental and undergraduate degrees from the University of Michigan in 1991. He then completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwestern University Dental School in 1992 and practiced general dentistry for several years prior to becoming a periodontist.
He continues to be involved in teaching at UIC college of dentistry since1997. Dr. Sanai received his MS degree in Oral Sciences and a Certificate in Periodontics from the same institution.
Dr. Sanai also holds a license in intravenous conscious sedation and has been involved in providing this service since 1992. He holds memberships in several professional organizations including the ADA, ISDS, AAP and ISOP .
He will be happy to work as a team member with your dentitst in providing quality periodontal and dental implant care.
Dr. Sanai is married and has two young sons. He currently resides in Northbrook, IL.
Dr. Sanai believes that you have the right to receive a complete evaluation and then be able to review the findings in an easily understandable fashion. Once you understand your dental problems you can then choose one of possibly many possible solutions that supports your dental health objectives.
He also believes that you have the right to receive no treatment once you understand the risks and consequences. After all it is your oral health, your future, and the final decision always remains to be yours.
